Job Description

Are you a structural engineer with diverse work experience and a passion for designing projects that will last far into the future? Responsibilities:

* Participate in projects and motivate/manage project teams of structural engineers and draftsmen.

* Collaborate constructively with colleagues, external partners (such as architects and other design disciplines), and clients.

* Maintain an international mindset and cooperate with our offices abroad for certain engineering tasks, ensuring the required project quality.

* Respond effectively to client needs and requests.

* Aim for sustainable and efficient engineering solutions.

* Ensure that budgets, timelines, and quality standards for engineering work are met. You will ensure that your assigned projects comply with our quality system.

* Report project progress on a weekly basis.

* Promote an integrated design process by considering the interaction of different disciplines involved.

* Stay up to date with standards, guidelines, new techniques, and developments in your field, and share relevant information with your team and colleagues.

Qualifications

Requirements:

* You are a qualified Structural Engineer holding at least a Master’s degree.

* You have 8-10 years of relevant technical experience with structural engineering projects, including computing and designing various types of concrete and steel structures.

* Experience on projects outside Romania is preferred; projects located in the US and Australia are an advantage.

* You have been involved in all aspects and phases of projects: tendering, calculations, design, execution, and management.

* You possess good communication skills.

* You have a high proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

* You have strong expertise in using calculation software; experience with STAAD Pro is a plus.
