The AI Government Affairs Director role at PepsiCo, based in Washington, District of Columbia, is a pivotal position within the Public Policy and Government Affairs (PPGA) team. Reporting to the Senior Director of PPGA, you will drive strategies to strengthen PepsiCo’s policy standing on artificial intelligence and technology at federal and state levels. Lead planning and staffing for senior executives in AI advocacy and thought leadership initiatives, particularly in Washington, DC, amplifying PepsiCo's voice in key discussions.
Represent PepsiCo before policymakers, trade associations, and industry stakeholders, articulating positions and fostering strong relationships to influence fair, science-based regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams including strategy, transformation, legal, and communications to ensure policy strategies support business objectives, executed with the highest integrity and ethics.
To excel as PepsiCo's AI Government Affairs Director, candidates need substantial experience in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory roles, ideally with a focus on AI, technology, or high-tech manufacturing. A proven track record in developing advocacy campaigns and engaging with federal/state lawmakers is essential.
Key qualifications include deep knowledge of AI regulatory developments, exceptional networking skills with policymakers and industry leaders, and strong analytical abilities to translate complex policies into actionable strategies.
