Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. This role requires candidates to be based in Paris. This role is not eligible for relocation support. Please note this is a 12 month Fixed-Term contract. Please submit CV in English.   The Community you will join: The Experiences and Services Community Team is growing and we want you to be part of it! The team is part of the wider Airbnb Community Team that supports our global community of Homes, Experiences and Services hosts - one of Airbnb’s most precious assets.  We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager to build our Experiences and Services Host Community strategy in France. You will regionally implement and iterate on Community programs that engage Hosts at scale, such as the Host Clubs program and Host events, while also innovating and testing new methods that can influence and strengthen the global community strategy. In this role, the Community engagement manager is responsible for balancing the needs of our Hosting Community with those of Airbnb. You will work closely with and report to the Community Engagement Lead for Experiences, and build collaborative relationships with the relevant Market Managers, Country Managers, and central Community team to support both our Experiences and Services hosts in the region. This includes fostering shared virtual and physical gatherings that build Host-to-Host connection and learning. The ideal candidate has extensive Community experience, passion and knowledge, especially in developing Community strategies as well as building and maintaining programs that connect and engage at scale. The difference you will make: As a France Community Engagement Manager, Experiences and Services, you are entrusted with  Acting as the primary bridge between the central Airbnb Community team and the France Experiences and Services Host Communities. This includes coordinating and prioritizing cross functional activities, advocating for your regional communities, and reporting on overall Community health. Leading Community support, growth and engagement for your local Host Community. Driving impactful initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring measurable outcomes at every stage. This includes developing project plans, managing budgets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, coordinating multiple stakeholders, identifying risks and crafting mitigation plans. Developing and executing local Community Programs with clear communication, efficient resource usage, and a deep focus on overall project execution. A typical day:  Community Growth: Recruit, onboard, and manage new Community Leaders and launch Host Clubs Growing Host representation in Host Clubs Testing new methods for connecting Homes, Experience and Service Hosts across France Community Engagement: Design effective initiatives and content strategies to drive Host engagement in Community programs and foster conversation and connection Serve as the primary POC and coach for local Experiences Community Leaders: advising and coaching them, while also remediating and replacing inactive Leaders Empower and support Community Leaders to develop and test region-specific programs that foster community connections for Experiences and Services hosts at scale Support global Community Engagement Programming and evolve for local language and needs Educate Experiences Community Leaders on all significant product changes and cascading feedback on product and policy to the relevant internal stakeholders Organize and lead effective in-person and online Experience and Services Community events, to build relationships, gather insights and evolve the local communities. Community Impact:  Support the development, execution and scale of in-market pilots that leverage Community programs and our Host Community to drive Host Success and accelerate business goals. Influence regional prioritization, process improvement, and program feedback. Develop deep knowledge of your geographic markets and become the go-to source for all Experiences and Services Community information relating to local needs, trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners. Act as a go to for Community team with regards to local insights and feedback    Your expertise:  8+ years of in-depth & demonstrated experience of managing Community - experience in Community events, online engagement or distributed communities will also be helpful.
