AIRBUS offers vacancies for our full-time graduate program in Spain - #DISCOVER I 2026/2027 - Starting date March 2nd 2026.

We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating. 

The selection process will be during October 2025 until February 2026.

What does this internship consist of

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (#DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early March 2026, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Internship Job Description:
We are looking for candidates interested in developing their professional career in the field of multidisciplinary analysis and optimization, using surrogate modeling and artificial intelligence techniques to support decision making processes during aircraft design.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in an international environment and receive training on cutting-edge technologies.

The main tasks will be related to the development of tools and methods for multidisciplinary analysis and optimization of aircraft systems, including the use of surrogate models and machine learning algorithms. The candidate will also participate in the integration of these tools within the overall aircraft design process and applying them on real use cases.

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:


- Master’s degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Advanced level in English.

- Spanish B1 level.
- Knowledge in programming languages such as C++, Python or Fortran would be highly valued.
- Experience in the use of high performance computing (HPC) environments and linux operating system.
- Familiarity with aeronautical design tools (CATIA, FEM, etc.) and overall aircraft design methodologies.
- Interest in the application of artificial intelligence techniques (Deep Neural Networks, Autoencoders, Transformers, Generative AI, etc..) to engineering problems such as aerodynamic shape design taking into account flight physics (aerodynamics, loads, mass properties, vehicle performance, handling qualities, etc..) and other engineering disciplines (manufacturing, noise, signature, etc...).

- Advanced mathematical methods and statisctical acumen will be highly valued.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing and demanding working environment.
