Am Airbus Helicopters-Standort in Donauwörth suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt zur Verstärkung für aktuelle und zukünftige Projekte eine/-n

System Engineering/MBSE Leader - Avionics System Architect

Du wirst in einer länderübergreifenden Abteilung arbeiten, die sich hauptsächlich aus Avionikarchitekten zusammensetzt, die für verschiedene zivile und militärische Hubschrauberprojekte zuständig sind. Du wirst eng mit anderen Architekten zusammenarbeiten und Schnittstellen zu den Interessengruppen in den Bereichen Avionik, Fahrzeuge, Projekte, Sicherheit, Zertifizierung und Kundenbetreuung haben.

Die Hauptaufgaben der Abteilung Avionik und Systemarchitektur sind unter anderem:

  • Antizipieren zukünftiger Bedürfnisse und möglicher Avioniklösungen, von der Konzeptanalyse bis zur Machbarkeit während der Forschungs- und Vorentwicklungsphasen,

  • Sicherstellung der Nachrüstung und Aufrüstung unserer im Einsatz befindlichen Flotte

  • unsere Avionik im Rahmen zukünftiger Entwicklungen auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten (Lösung von Veralterungsproblemen, Avionikverbesserungen, Einführung neuer Fähigkeiten/Features),

  • Definition, Entwicklung und Zertifizierung der effektivsten Avioniklösungen

  • Mitwirkung an der Avionikstrategie auf Systemebene,

  • Mitwirkung an Technologie-Roadmaps,

  • Mitwirkung am System-Engineering für Avionik (Prozesse, Methoden und Werkzeuge) und

  • Verwaltung von Querschnittsfunktionen

Innerhalb der Abteilung Avionik und Systemarchitektur bist Du verantwortlich für :

  • Entwicklung und Einführung eines gemeinsamen MBSE-Verständnisses und gemeinsamer Rahmenwerke innerhalb von Airbus Helicopters für die richtige (effektive und effiziente) Architektur und Entwicklung unserer Produkte.

  • Sicherstellung der Synchronisation mit den Stakeholdern von Avionics Systems in Bezug auf MBSE-Aktivitäten,

  • Förderung des erweiterten Einsatzes modernster MBSE-Methoden in der Abteilung für Avionik-Architekten 

  • Definition und Pflege eines harmonisierten MBSE- und Architekturrahmens

  • Vorbereitung der Modellierungsumgebung für Avionik-Architekturentwicklungsprojekte,

  • Überprüfungen/Audits der Modellkonsistenz,

  • Modellkonfigurationsmanagement für das gesamte Avioniksystem

Als Bewerber kannst du zusätzlich zu deinen Kenntnissen in den Bereichen Avionik und Systemarchitektur einige oder alle der folgenden Fähigkeiten und Kompetenzen nachweisen:

System Engineering/MBSE Leader - Avionics System Architect

to join the "Avionics and System Architecture" department as soon as possible.

You will work in a transnational department primarily composed of Avionics Architects responsible for various civil and military helicopter projects. You will work closely with other architects and interface with stakeholders in Avionics, Vehicle Systems, Projects, Safety, Certification, and Customer Support.

The main tasks of the Avionics and System Architecture department include:

  • Anticipating future needs and possible avionics solutions, from concept analysis to feasibility during the Research and Pre-Development phases.

  • Ensuring the retrofitting and upgrading of our in-service fleet.

  • Keeping our avionics up-to-date within the framework of future developments (solving obsolescence issues, avionics improvements, introducing new capabilities/features).

  • Defining, developing, and certifying the most effective avionics solutions.

  • Contributing to the system-level avionics strategy.

  • Contributing to technology roadmaps.

  • Contributing to the System Engineering for Avionics (processes, methods, and tools).

  • Managing transversal functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Avionics, Electronics, Systems Engineering, or equivalent (experience)
  • Knowledge of Avionics and System Architecture (experience)
  • Fluent in English (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of German and French (experience)
  • Experience with Systems Engineering and MBSE (experience)
  • Experience in modeling and simulation (experience)
  • Knowledge in tools: Doors, Visio, Reqtify, Mantis, Nectar, Windchill, Cameo, HOPEX, 3D experience (TRA/TRM/EEW/RGD) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Developing and introducing a common MBSE understanding and common frameworks within Airbus Helicopters for effective and efficient architecture and development of products
  • Ensuring synchronization with Avionics Systems stakeholders regarding MBSE activities
  • Promoting the extended use of cutting-edge MBSE methodologies in the Avionics Architects department
  • Defining and maintaining a harmonized MBSE and architecture framework
  • Preparing the modeling environment for avionics architecture development projects
  • Reviews/Audits of model consistency
  • Model configuration management for the entire avionics system
  • Anticipating future needs and possible avionics solutions, from concept analysis to feasibility during Research and Pre-Development phases
  • Ensuring retrofitting and upgrading of in-service fleet
  • Keeping avionics up-to-date within future developments (solving obsolescence issues, avionics improvements, introducing new capabilities/features)
  • Defining, developing, and certifying effective avionics solutions
  • Contributing to system-level avionics strategy
  • Contributing to technology roadmaps
  • Contributing to System Engineering for Avionics (processes, methods, and tools)
  • Managing transversal functions
