🚀 Job Opportunity: Software Tester – Eurofighter Avionics (Tranche 1 & 2)

Airbus Defence & Space is looking for a Software Tester to join the Eurofighter program, supporting the validation and integration of avionics software for Tranche 1 & 2. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced defence systems and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a highly technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Software Requirements (SR) to ensure consistency, completeness, and feasibility.
• Draft and review deficiency/discrepancy reports.
• Prepare, update, and maintain avionics test procedures for Eurofighter subsystems (NAV, DASS, ACS, D&C, COMM, etc.) and for integrated system-level testing.
• Execute integration and system-level tests on Eurofighter avionics benches (Tranche 1, 2 & 3).
• Analyze results, produce detailed test reports, and contribute to deviation handling processes.
• Ensure proper traceability between test cases and system design specifications.
• Collaborate with CLAEX software development teams to ensure overall system functionality.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer, or Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in real-time software integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with avionics lab systems (TIGER, CAST, RSEs, RFTG, etc.).
• Knowledge of Eurofighter avionics systems and standards (MIL-STD-1553, 3910).
• Familiarity with tools such as:

o   ATL, MaTE, Data Repository

o   DOORS (requirements), VSS (configuration), CoDIX (discrepancy management)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
