Job Description:

The mission of the Electric & Avionic Workshop engineer is to: 

  • Provide maintenance support to RSNF technicians in initial and intermediate levels for electric & avionics.

  • Provide On-Job Training to RSNF technicians in initial and intermediate levels for electric & avionics. 

  • Train and qualify technicians in quality assurance in his specialty. 

  • Provide synthetic information regarding helicopter techniques, international regulations, factory documentation and military publications. 

  • Prepare technical lectures. 

Qualification:

  •  Such a position requires that the incumbent in an engineer graduate from university, aeronautical school or military school. 

  • In addition, the candidate should have training courses in helicopter maintenance in the field of electricity and avionics in the manufacturer or any other place. 

  • Job occupant should be qualified on Panther helicopters in his specialty. 

Skills and Experiences 

  • He should have at least five (5) years’ experience working as Electric & Avionic engineer in helicopter maintenance. 

  • He should have a training skills and experience as instructor.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good command of English speaking and writing.

  • Should be aware of computer means.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people.

  • Duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform the tasks of inspection and maintenance for electrical components of the aircraft. 

  • Trains the technicians to install, inspect, maintain, and repair any helicopter electric components fitted on Panther & Dolphin helicopters.

  • Prepares and maintains all maintenance related records and reports pertaining to the maintenance of helicopter electric & avionic components.

  • Reads and interprets drawings and technical manuals.

  • Performs any other duties as assigned.
