We are seeking an experienced Integration, Verification, and Validation (IVV) Test Manager (d/f/m) to lead testing efforts for complex systems, ensuring seamless integration, compliance with requirements, and high-quality delivery. The IVV Test Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and management of integration, verification, validation, system-level, system element-level, and automated testing activities in an Agile environment.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for integration, verification, validation, system-level, system element-level, and automated testing, outlining objectives, scope, and methodologies.

  • Integration Testing Management: Oversee integration testing to ensure seamless interaction between system components, subsystems, and third-party services.

  • Verification Management: Lead verification activities to confirm that the system and its elements are built correctly, adhering to design specifications and requirements.

  • Validation Management: Direct validation efforts to ensure the system and its elements meet stakeholder needs and intended use, coordinating with stakeholders to define validation criteria.

  • Test Case Development and Management: Define and manage test cases, scripts, and procedures for integration, system-level, system element-level, verification, and validation testing, ensuring full requirement coverage.

  • Test Automation: Design and implement automated test suites for GUI, web, system-level, and system element-level testing to ensure robust coverage of functional and regression tests.

  • Test Execution Oversight: Coordinate and monitor manual and automated test execution for integration, system, and system element testing, tracking progress and defects in Jira for issue resolution. Ensure test environments are configured for both manual and automated tests, with setups documented in Confluence for consistency.

  • Defect Management: Manage defect identification, logging, and resolution processes for system and system element testing, prioritizing and tracking defects from manual and automated tests in Jira. Document defect analysis and root cause findings in Confluence to support continuous improvement.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an Senior Tester, IVV Test Manager, Test Lead, or similar role in systems or software development, preferably in industries such as aerospace, defense, or healthcare.

  • Strong background in managing integration, verification, validation, system-level, system element-level, and test automation for complex systems.

  • Proven expertise in system breakdown, requirements engineering, and testing

  • Experience leading technical teams and managing projects across multiple sites

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and SAFe would be beneficial

  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivated work ethic

  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands

  • Strong communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
