In order to support the design office team, Airbus Operations is looking for a

Internship in Vertical Tail Plane Engineering (d/f/m)

Are you looking for an internship in the area of ​​aircraft design and system integration?   Then apply now and become part of the RFE (Rear Fuselage and Empennage Airframe Engineering) department.
You will become part of the VTP (Vertical Tail Plain) design office in Hamburg, within RFE Airframe Engineering, a dynamic and transnational team. You will be part of the System Integration Team and will be involved in aircraft system development and integration activities with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.

  • Location: Hamburg

  • Start: as soon as possible

  • Duration: 3-6 months

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • You will contribute to the development of the next improved flight control systems and deal with state-of-the-art system design and integration methods on a daily basis.

  • You work in an environment where innovation and sustainability are top priorities.

 

 Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in aerospace/mechanical engineering or similar field of study.

  • Basics of overall aircraft design, basic skills in the area of ​​systems and system integration.

  • Experience in Catia V5 and Skywise would be an advantage.

  • Independent work and good communication skills are required.

  • Business fluent in English.

  • German would be an advantage.
