Description of the role:

The Key Account role in Mexico will further develop commercial approach and business in a key moment in the history of the Public Safety Communication. The business activities to focus on include :

  • IRIS is a key customer for Airbus SLC. The priority includes the preparation and the realization of commercial approach / offers and winning contracts for IRIS evolution projects (including evolution of Airbus installed base, Agnet portfolio, Airbus transversal positioning).

  • Defend and further expand positions of Airbus in the IRIS environment (evolution of services and installed base, Next Gen evolution, help to develop added value for end users and for our positioning towards IRIS, extend go to market,...).

  • Support the extension and the reinforcement of the Airbus SLC presence in the ecosystem of the Public Safety in Mexico.. 

  • Provide support to teams looking at extending presence of SLC towards complementary markets (e.g. Defence, TUI, MNO, private market,…).

Drive the next big things at the forefront! In agreement with Mexico Head of Sales, the KAM Strategic Sales takes an active role in business concepts, customers/markets approach and works with a variety of ecosystem partners to enhance Airbus SLC business in our country. In addition it’s important to be able to quantify future potential of new business concepts. 

Works actively within a network including also business developers, technical analysts, service specialists,...

Customer Interface:

Takes active interface of selected campaigns and initiatives. 

Be an account owner and primary PoC to some of our strategic customers and ecosystem partners in Mexico. Identify and Develop next generation communication partnership needs. 

Commercial Responsibility:

Build and execute strategic commercial approaches to grow Airbus SLC’s market share and influence in Mexico, aligned with global business goals.

Depending on offer the KAM Strategic Sales will either create offer or ensure this is co-ordinated with BID Team, Specialized organization (e.g. project,…) and the Product Lines. 

Sales Process

Clarification of technical and commercial inquiries from customers during the sales process with the relevant stakeholders (essential: product management / marketing, technical engineering and Product Line).

Qualifications of position:

Min. Commercial or Technical education at Bachelor Level.  

Min 3 years of experience in business management and / or new business development, new concept launches with telecoms/software/IoT/Services industries. 

Required competencies / skills, acquired in training and / or through professional experience

  • Business and Sales Strategy Development

  • Competitive offer creation.

  • Has a technical understanding and knowledge in the field of Mission Critical / Business Critical communication and associated expected evolutions (broadband driven business, cloud / IT environment, AI, IoT solutions, data acquisition and data analysis,…)

  • Public Sector Customer Experience. Specific interest for Public Safety ecosystem knowledge in Mexico.

  • Fluent English spoken and written.

Descripción del Rol:

El rol de Key Account (KAM) en México desarrollará aún más el enfoque comercial y el negocio en un momento clave en la historia de la Comunicación de Seguridad Pública. Las actividades comerciales en las que se enfocará incluyen:

  • IRIS es un cliente clave para Airbus SLC. La prioridad incluye la preparación y la realización de un enfoque comercial / ofertas y la obtención de contratos para proyectos de evolución de IRIS (incluyendo la evolución de la base instalada de Airbus, el portafolio Agnet y el posicionamiento transversal de Airbus).

  • Defender y expandir aún más las posiciones de Airbus en el entorno IRIS (evolución de los servicios y la base instalada, evolución de Próxima Generación, ayuda para desarrollar valor agregado para los usuarios finales y para nuestro posicionamiento hacia IRIS, extender la estrategia de comercialización, etc.).

  • Apoyar la extensión y el refuerzo de la presencia de Airbus SLC en el ecosistema de la Seguridad Pública en México.

  • Proporcionar soporte a los equipos que buscan extender la presencia de SLC hacia mercados complementarios (por ejemplo, Defensa, TUI, MNO, mercado privado, etc.).

Impulsar las próximas grandes innovaciones a la vanguardia. De acuerdo con el Gerente de Ventas de México, el KAM de Ventas Estratégicas toma un papel activo en los conceptos de negocio, el enfoque hacia clientes/mercados y trabaja con una variedad de socios del ecosistema para mejorar el negocio de Airbus SLC en nuestro país. Además, es importante poder cuantificar el potencial futuro de los nuevos conceptos de negocio.

Trabaja activamente dentro de una red que también incluye desarrolladores de negocios, analistas técnicos, especialistas en servicios, etc.

Interacción con el Cliente:

  • Toma una interfaz activa en campañas e iniciativas seleccionadas.

  • Ser el propietario de la cuenta y el Punto de Contacto (PoC) principal para algunos de nuestros clientes estratégicos y socios del ecosistema en México. Identificar y desarrollar las necesidades de colaboración en comunicación de próxima generación.

Responsabilidad Comercial:

  • Construir y ejecutar enfoques comerciales estratégicos para hacer crecer la cuota de mercado y la influencia de Airbus SLC en México, alineados con los objetivos de negocio globales.

  • Dependiendo de la oferta, el KAM de Ventas Estratégicas creará la oferta o se asegurará de que esta se coordine con el equipo de Licitación (BID Team), la organización especializada (por ejemplo, proyecto,...) y las Líneas de Producto.

Proceso de Ventas:

  • Aclaración de consultas técnicas y comerciales de los clientes durante el proceso de ventas con los stakeholders relevantes (esencial: gestión / marketing de productos, ingeniería técnica y Línea de Producto).

Requisitos del Puesto:

Cualificaciones:

  • Educación Comercial o Técnica a nivel de Licenciatura como mínimo.

  • Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en gestión de negocios y/o desarrollo de nuevos negocios, lanzamientos de nuevos conceptos en las industrias de telecomunicaciones/software/IoT/Servicios.

Required Qualifications

  • Commercial or Technical education at Bachelor Level (Licenciatura) (experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business management and/or new business development, new concept launches in telecoms/software/IoT/Services industries (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Public Sector and/or Public Safety ecosystem in Mexico (experience)
  • Strategic Sales Planning (experience)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Further develop commercial approach and business for IRIS (key customer): preparation and realization of commercial offers, winning contracts for evolution projects (Airbus installed base, Agnet portfolio, transversal positioning)
  • Defend and expand Airbus positions in IRIS environment (evolution of services and installed base, Next Gen evolution, develop added value for end users, extend go-to-market)
  • Support extension and reinforcement of Airbus SLC presence in Mexico Public Safety ecosystem
  • Provide support to teams extending SLC presence to complementary markets (Defence, TUI, MNO, private market)
  • Drive next big innovations: active role in business concepts, customer/market approaches, work with ecosystem partners to enhance Airbus SLC business, quantify future potential of new business concepts
  • Work actively within network including business developers, technical analysts, service specialists
  • Take active interface in selected campaigns and initiatives
  • Be account owner and primary Point of Contact (PoC) for strategic customers and ecosystem partners in Mexico
  • Identify and develop next generation communication partnership needs
  • Build and execute strategic commercial approaches to grow Airbus SLC market share and influence in Mexico, aligned with global goals
  • Create offers or coordinate with BID Team, specialized organizations, and Product Lines
  • Clarify technical and commercial inquiries from customers during sales process with stakeholders (product management/marketing, technical engineering, Product Line)
