Definition VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Candidates meeting these criteria and interested in a VIE, please register before your 28th birthday on the website www.civiweb.com. You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • On-time, on-cost & on-quality delivery of Spare Parts to Customers
  • Purchase Order Placement, Monitoring & Supplier Communication
  • Collaboration with internal Stakeholders, such as Major Repair, Customer Order Desk, Engineering, Supply Chain Quality Management, etc.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • University degree in the area of Logistics, Business, or an equivalent field of study
  • Previous knowledge Data Analytics would be a plus
  • You have strong ability to take ownership and deliver, as well as good negotiation skills and a solid commercial understanding
  • Business fluent in English
  • True team spirit, enjoy working in a fun environment and you are able to interact with and relate well with individuals at all levels and functions
