Role Overview

Airwallex is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our US SMB & Growth travel team in New York City. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition within the travel industry, helping travel companies modernize their payment processes and overcome challenges related to cross-border payments, FX exposure, and reconciliation. You will be a key player in expanding Airwallex's presence in the travel sector and contributing to our mission of building the global payments and financial platform of the future.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and onboarding new clients. You will need to have a deep understanding of the travel industry, its unique payment challenges, and Airwallex's solutions. You will also need to be a strong communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder.
