A Day in the Life

As an Analyst, Transaction Monitoring, your day will involve:

• Reviewing and analyzing transaction monitoring alerts using independent and professional judgment.
• Conducting thorough transaction and customer reviews to identify potential money laundering, fraud, or other financial crime risks.
• Analyzing flow of funds, counterparties, and transaction behavior to detect suspicious activity.
• Documenting investigative findings and decisions clearly and concisely in the case management system.
• Escalating higher-risk or complex cases with concise summaries and supporting analysis.
• Performing holistic reviews for post-transaction monitoring alerts when required.
• Supporting internal escalations and external requests (e.g., RFIs) as needed.
