Role Overview: Operations Manager, Middle East

Based in our Tel Aviv office, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Middle East operations team. This is a newly created role, offering a unique opportunity to build and optimize our operational processes in a rapidly growing market. You will be responsible for ensuring our current and future customers have a seamless experience with Airwallex, while maintaining compliance as a regulated financial services institution.

As the Operations Manager, your day will be dynamic and multifaceted. You will:

  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance the customer experience, including product launches and client onboarding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Commercial) to ensure seamless delivery and alignment.
  • Manage and optimize daily compliance operations, including transaction monitoring, KYC, and name screening.
  • Work closely with Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into operational processes.
  • Partner with Product to drive operational efficiencies through internal product improvements.
  • Monitor regional payment and treasury operations, ensuring the safeguarding of customer funds.
