The Corporate IT team at Airwallex is the backbone of our IT support, IT engineering, and business engineering functions. The IT Engineering team is central to delivering seamless technology experiences, from communications and video conferencing to computer, application, and identity and access management. We design, build, and manage the systems and services that empower our teams to develop our product, serve our customers, and drive our business. Collaborating with teams across Finance, Engineering, People Operations, and Support, we solve challenges and create solutions to support our company's growth.
As a Senior IT Engineer specializing in Okta, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our identity and access management (IAM) systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the security and efficiency of our Okta platform, defining and implementing access controls, authentication policies, and user lifecycle management processes. You will be a key resource for IT and INFOSEC teams, providing expertise on access controls and authentication rules. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and lead a world-class identity function within our IT engineering team.
Your day will involve a mix of strategic planning, hands-on implementation, and problem-solving. You will design and implement Okta configurations to meet business requirements, ensuring secure and seamless access to applications and resources. You will automate user provisioning and de-provisioning processes, integrating Okta with other systems. You will also collaborate with security teams to implement security best practices and address potential vulnerabilities. Additionally, you will provide support and guidance to IT staff and end-users, troubleshooting issues and resolving escalations.
