Role Overview

As the Senior Manager, Policy Governance & Issue Management within our Legal, Risk & Compliance Organization (LRCO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our global policy governance program. Reporting to the Chief of Staff of LRC, you'll join a team of seasoned consultants focused on enhancing and upgrading the division's strategy and processes. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a best-in-class policy governance framework that encompasses Risk, Regulatory Compliance, and Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) functions. You'll oversee the entire policy lifecycle, ensuring policies are consistently implemented, monitored, and aligned with regulatory requirements and Airwallex's risk appetite. Additionally, you will lead the identification, escalation, and remediation of issues, and drive the procurement and optimization of governance tools, leveraging AI to enhance efficiency and compliance.
