Role Overview

Airwallex is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Onboarding team in Singapore. This role is pivotal in facilitating the rapid integration of businesses into our platform, ensuring compliance, security, and an intuitive user experience. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality frontend applications using the latest technologies, including React and Typescript. You will collaborate with a team of skilled engineers and designers to build scalable and performant web applications that support Airwallex's global expansion and product offerings.

Day in the Life

As a Senior Frontend Engineer in the Onboarding team, your day will be dynamic and impactful. You will start by attending daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and priorities. You will spend a significant portion of your time coding with React and Typescript, building and enhancing our frontend applications. You will also work on designing and implementing micro frontend architectures, ensuring seamless integration and scalability. Collaboration with the design team is essential to create and maintain a unified design system and deliver a consistent UI/UX across different domains. Furthermore, you will leverage Apollo GraphQL and Node.js to build high-performance backend-for-frontend (BFF) services. You will also be involved in deploying and maintaining applications on GCP and Aliyun, utilizing K8S, Bucket CDN, and Cloudflare. Code reviews, troubleshooting, and staying up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies will also be part of your daily routine.
