Your primary tasks will be supporting electrode production QC, sample preparation for microscopy, and conducting standard test methods to characterize materials.Support operational tasks to meet project requirements including, but not limited to, sample cut up, polishing, and imaging, mounting and prep of microscopy specimens, accountability for department inventory, and execution/reporting of analytical testing.Troubleshoot & perform preventative and unplanned maintenance on all process equipment.Prepare and test samples using laboratory analytical equipment consisting of LECO, chemical analysis, density measurements, dimensional measurements, and others.Must be able to prioritize safety while working with laboratory hazards including radiation sources, acids and bases, and human/environmental toxins.Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
