The way we see it, every Alcoan is a work-shaper, team-shaper, idea-shaper, world-shaper.Job duties·         Perform routine electrical maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting·         Utilize draft transmitters, flow transmitters, load cell scales, thermocouple and RTD transmitters and various measuring and calibration meters·         Troubleshoot variable speed drives and PLC systems·         Utilize the Alcoa computer-based maintenance system for day-to-day activities·         Work with high and low voltage·         Follow all Alcoa safety standards·         Perform other duties as directed by supervisor·         Perform minor mechanical repairs·         Assist emergency response teamAbout the LocationJust about halfway from Houston and New Orleans Alcoa's Lake Charles Carbon Plant is located in historic Lake Charles, LA.
