R&D Technician – ELYSIS at Alcoa: Shape the Future of Aluminum

Alcoa is seeking a highly motivated and skilled R&D Technician to join our ELYSIS team at the Alcoa Technical Center (ATC) in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. Role Overview

As an R&D Technician I, you will be responsible for conducting experiments, installing and commissioning new equipment, and meticulously recording and documenting results. Your work will directly contribute to the development of innovative technology that has the potential to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions from the aluminum production process. You will be part of a pilot-scale development team, focusing on the manufacturing and testing of advanced proprietary materials.

  • Preparing and testing samples using laboratory analytical equipment such as LECO chemical analysis, physical measurements, and Archimedes density.
