As an EDC Trainer, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting explosives detection training for both active and newly hired Explosive Detection Canine Handlers (EDCH) in the assigned region. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing effective training programs that ensure our canine teams are prepared to detect explosives odor in a variety of operational environments. Additionally, you will supervise MSA employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and client requirements.

The essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of two years of experience as a detection canine handler and/or trainer, minimum two years of supervisory experience, and experience in management of human resource issues at the supervisor level. Additionally, candidates should have work experience demonstrating the ability to train in passive response, and must possess one or more of service in any military branch, law enforcement role, or municipal/federal correctional officer experience.
