Financial Center Security Professional/Supervisor - San Mateo, California

Role Overview

As a Financial Center Security Professional/Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facilities you protect. Our Financial Center Officers are a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions. They detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts that may threaten the property, clients, guests, or employees at the site. This role is a mix of Security Professional and Supervisor duties.

Pay Rates

  • Security Professional: USD $28.00/Hr
  • Supervisor: USD $33.00/Hr

Schedule

  • Saturday & Sunday: 1330 - 2130 ($33/hr)
  • Friday / Monday / Tuesday: 1400 - 2200 ($28/hr)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the facility is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and property.
  • Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons.
  • Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.
  • Preserve order and act to enforce regulations and directives for the site.
  • Monitor closed-circuit television systems and alarms.
  • Maintain awareness and familiarity with site-specific operations manuals and post orders.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with client employees and guests.
  • Answer questions and assist guests and employees.
  • Patrol the facility on foot or in a vehicle.
  • Work at multiple locations, covering special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.
  • Conduct regular security checks and risk assessments of the premises.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security activities.
  • Enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to other security personnel.
  • Supervise and train new security officers.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
  • Conduct regular drills and exercises.
  • Monitor and manage access control systems.
