Responsibilities

  • Assist the Account Manager in coordinating all aspects of the security contract at the assigned location.
  • Assign work tasks to Security Professionals and direct their work throughout the day.
  • Serve as the first direct supervisory contact for shift supervisors or Security Professionals.
  • Supervise, motivate, coach, and train Security Professionals.
  • Evaluate the work performance of Security Professionals and make recommendations regarding assignments.
  • Ensure that the Post Order manual and all other post and training information are properly maintained and updated.
  • Maintain the Post in a clean and organized manner.
  • Assist the Account Manager in conducting interviews and evaluating new employees.
  • Conduct on-the-job training of new employees, in coordination with Shift Supervisors.
  • Oversee all reports, logs, and pass downs generated by and for the Security Department.
  • Distribute communications and other information to Security Professionals at post as directed.
  • Manage and supervise all sub-units within the Security Department, such as fire control room, command center, and loading docks.
  • Respond to minor incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken and all reports are properly completed.
  • Identify any personnel problems occurring at posts and forward such issues to the Account Manager or Field Supervisor.
  • Make recommendations for counseling and/or disciplinary action, including termination.
  • Respond to client or location requests or issues, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Account Manager.
