Role Overview: Explosive Detection Canine Handler

As an Explosive Detection Canine (K9) Handler at Allied Universal®, you will partner with a trained Explosive Detection Canine (EDC), or “K9”, to conduct searches in/at assigned client sites. These sites may include corporate buildings, loading docks, delivery vehicles, open areas, and other situations as needed. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of these locations by detecting potential explosive threats.

A typical day for an Explosive Detection Canine Handler involves:

  • Conducting Searches: Performing thorough searches of assigned client sites using your K9 partner.
