The minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a current driver’s license (if applicable), Basic Life Support CPR/AED and First Aid certification, federal and state firearms qualifications, National Weapons Detection Training Program (NWDTP) certification, OC, Baton, and handcuffing certification, defensive tactics and de-escalation tactics certification, a minimum of two (2) years of armed security experience OR two (2) years of US military service OR one (1) year full-time armed civilian law enforcement experience, and a minimum age of 21 years.
While not strictly required, a minimum of two (2) years of armed security experience OR two (2) years of US military service OR one (1) year full-time armed civilian law enforcement experience is required.
You will receive comprehensive training, including firearms qualification, weapons detection, defensive tactics, de-escalation techniques, and site-specific procedures.
Yes, you will be required to wear a professional security uniform, which will be provided by Allied Universal.
This is a full-time position, and the work schedule may vary depending on the needs of the client. You may be required to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods of time. You must also be able to lift and carry objects, climb stairs, and respond to emergencies.
FPS suitability is a background check and clearance process required by the Federal Protective Services for individuals working in certain security roles. Allied Universal will guide employees through the FPS suitability process, which may take up to 60 days.
