The Sales and Use Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of indirect tax compliance for Allied Universal in North America. This includes managing the preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns, property tax returns, and other indirect tax filings across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of tax calculations, researching tax law changes, implementing process improvements, managing audit defense, providing strategic tax advice, and mentoring staff. The position also includes general ledger support, treasury support, and coordination with outside consultants.

Key responsibilities include managing the multi-state sales and use and other indirect tax return process, coordinating property tax return processing, maintaining exemption certificates, collaborating with internal teams, participating in tax audits, and providing tax planning advice.
