Day in the Life

As a Security Guard - Perimeter Patrol, your day will be dynamic and varied, requiring a combination of vigilance, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity, maintenance issues, and policy violations.
• Responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Controlling access by observing and verifying entry and exit activity, assisting with visitor directions, and supporting delivery and contractor check-in processes as assigned.
• Completing detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and tenant or visitor interactions using Allied Universal reporting procedures, and communicating relevant updates during shift turnover.
• Providing customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
