As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver, your day will be dynamic and varied. You will start by receiving briefings and updates from the previous shift to stay informed about any security concerns or incidents. The core of your role will involve manning access control points, where you will greet drivers and visitors, verify their credentials, and issue temporary badges as required. You will maintain accurate logs of all entries and exits, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
In addition to access control duties, you will conduct regular patrols of the facility, docks, yard, and perimeter. These patrols help identify and report any unusual activity or security breaches.
