As a Security Officer - Gate Credentialing, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate location. You will be responsible for verifying credentials, managing entry points, monitoring activity, and providing exceptional customer service. Your presence will deter security-related incidents and ensure a smooth and secure flow of people throughout the property.

A Day in the Life

Here's a glimpse into what your typical day might look like:

  • 6:00 AM: Arrive at the assigned post and receive a briefing from the outgoing officer. Review the daily log and any special instructions.
  • 6:30 AM: Begin controlling access to the property by verifying identification and credentials of visitors and tenants. Issue visitor passes and direct them to the appropriate locations.
  • 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas, looking for any signs of suspicious activity or security breaches. Monitor security cameras and alarms.
