A Day in the Life

As a Security Officer - Metal Detector Screener, your day will be filled with a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Operating metal detectors and other screening equipment to identify prohibited items.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.
  • Inspecting packages and deliveries for compliance with security protocols.
  • Patrolling the facility to deter theft and vandalism.
  • Responding to incidents and emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.
  • Writing detailed reports of incidents and observations.
  • Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Your schedule will typically be Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
