Day in the Life

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, your day-to-day activities will involve monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, completing routine rounds, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking lots, loading areas, and perimeter points, to help deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and common areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization when required, and report suspicious or unusual activity to site leadership and/or local authorities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire and alarm activations per post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and service requests in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
