Allied Universal is seeking a skilled and motivated Security Project Manager to lead the planning, organization, and execution of electronic security system installation projects in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, including Washington D.C., Manassas and Reston, Virginia and Gaithersburg, Maryland. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation of security solutions for our clients, from initial planning to final commissioning. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project schedules, overseeing field installations, coordinating quality assurance processes, and ensuring overall financial performance. Strong communication, strategic planning, and effective project execution skills are essential for success in this role.
As a Security Project Manager, your day will be dynamic and multifaceted. You might start your day reviewing project timelines and budgets, ensuring that projects are on track and within budget. A significant portion of your time will be spent communicating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate activities and address any issues that arise. You'll also be responsible for supervising installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring that the work meets our high standards of quality. Additionally, you'll conduct site walks, attend on-site customer meetings, and proactively manage risks to ensure project success. Problem-solving is a key aspect of the role, as you'll need to identify and resolve any issues that could impact project timelines or budgets.
