Role Overview

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking dedicated and reliable Security Guards to join our team in West Valley City, Utah. As an Unarmed Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's healthcare facility. Day in the Life

A typical day for a Security Guard at this location involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining order and preventing incidents. Your duties may include:

  • Conducting regular patrols of the hospital grounds, both on foot and in a vehicle, to identify and address any potential security concerns or safety hazards.
  • Assisting hospital staff in de-escalating situations involving patients, using your training and skills to calmly and effectively manage conflicts.
  • Restraining combative individuals when necessary, following company and customer guidelines to ensure the safety of all involved.
  • Transporting patients to the morgue as needed, showing respect and professionalism in handling sensitive situations.
