A Day in the Life

As a Part-Time Perimeter Rounds Security Guard, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitoring access points and public areas, assisting with visitor wayfinding, and supporting staff with security-related requests in accordance with site procedures.
• Responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disturbances, and medical location alerts, and coordinating with site leadership and first responders as needed.
• Completing detailed incident reports, activity logs, and shift handoffs, and communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Providing excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Your typical schedule for this part-time role will be:

• Thursdays: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturdays: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
