A Day in the Life

As an Unarmed Roving Patrol Security Guard, your day will consist of:

• Conducting regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the assigned site, including loading areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitoring access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials as required by site policy, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries.
• Responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, assisting with evacuations, and supporting responding personnel as directed.
• Completing routine reports and incident documentation, communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts, and helping maintain a professional presence throughout the location.
• Providing exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors, addressing their concerns and directing them as needed.
• Operating and monitoring security equipment, including CCTV systems and alarm panels.
• Enforcing site-specific policies and security procedures consistently.
