As a Part-Time Security Officer at the Hilton Hotel, your day will be dynamic and varied. You'll start by receiving a briefing from the outgoing shift, reviewing any incidents or special instructions. Your primary responsibility will be conducting regular patrols of the hotel, including guest areas, lobbies, corridors, amenities, and parking areas. During these patrols, you'll be vigilant for any signs of suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues.
You'll also interact with guests and staff, providing assistance and directions as needed. A significant part of your role involves monitoring access points, verifying authorization, and managing crowds during peak arrival times or special events. You'll respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach, handling disturbances and contacting local responders when necessary.
Throughout your shift, you'll meticulously document your observations and actions in detailed incident reports and patrol logs. Clear and concise communication with hotel management and incoming Allied Universal personnel is essential to ensure seamless security coverage.
