Day in the Life

A typical day for a Security Officer Flex-Driver Patrol includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, supporting access control and visitor badging, responding to alarms and service needs, and delivering clear, respectful communication. You will bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset as you support a reliable, agile, and innovative operation.

Your responsibilities will involve providing customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. You will also conduct access control and badge verification at designated entry points, helping to support authorized entry and reporting access-related issues per post orders.

Responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner is crucial, including documenting observations and notifying the appropriate contacts. Regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter will be conducted, helping to identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations. You will also complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
