Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Aiken, South Carolina

Role Overview

Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol to join our team in Aiken, South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff at a leading healthcare facility. You will conduct regular patrols, respond to incidents, provide excellent customer service, and enforce security policies. This is a part-time position with a competitive pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

A Day in the Life

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol, your day will consist of a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the safety and security of the healthcare facility. You will begin your shift by receiving a briefing from the outgoing officer and reviewing any relevant information or incidents that occurred. Throughout your shift, you will conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the facility, including patient rooms, hallways, parking areas, and entrances. You will be vigilant for any signs of unauthorized activity, safety hazards, or suspicious behavior.

You will also be responsible for responding to incidents and emergencies, such as medical emergencies, security breaches, or disruptive individuals. You will provide de-escalation support, coordinate with clinical staff, and notify the appropriate authorities when necessary. In addition to security duties, you will also provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by answering questions, providing directions, and assisting with any needs they may have.

You will be working the following schedule: Monday from 01:00 PM to 07:00 PM and Thursday from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM.
