We are currently seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to work at a Transitional Shelter in Jamaica, Queens. This is a full-time position with morning, evening, and overnight shifts available. Candidates should be flexible and able to work Monday through Sunday. The hourly pay rate ranges from $21.20 to $22.20 per hour.

As a Security Shift Supervisor, you will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift. You will act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 18 years of age
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
