Role Overview

The Allocation Planner, NA position at Nike in Beaverton, Oregon, is a pivotal role within the North America retail operations team. Reporting to the Manager of Allocation, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Assortment Planning, Merchandising, Marketplace Supply Chain, Location Planning, Space Planning, and Sport teams. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution

Set seasonal flow plans and allocation strategies aligned with initiatives, consumer priorities, door-level tactics, and revenue drivers. Ensure the right product depth, sizing, and timing reaches retail stores to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Inventory Optimization

Develop detailed style/color/size level load-in and replenishment plans for all doors. Weekly monitoring of store performance against plans, with proactive adjustments to allocation units based on performance variances.

Inventory Health Management

Maintain balanced inventory levels with optimal Weeks of Supply (WOS) for each Sport Offense across NA stores, preventing stockouts and overstock while supporting profitability.

Cross-Functional Influence

Guide the Assortment Planning team on size curve opportunities and inventory depth during pre-season order entry. Provide Merchandising with data-driven insights and POVs on future assortments by Sport Offense, door tier, and location.

Operational Support

Support timely execution of New Store Openings, ensuring seamless product allocation and setup.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as an Allocation Planner at Nike, you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
• Minimum of 2 years’ directly relevant work experience in allocation planning or related fields.
• Strong grasp of retail math, balancing KPIs across stores and supply chains, with proven experience in financial, product, and inventory planning.
• Ability to present complex data concisely to diverse audiences, using analytics to drive decisions and communicate needs.
• Deep understanding of merchandise, consumer behavior, and Sport strategies tied to Nike’s 'Win Now' vision.
