Job Description

As an ACES Process Specialist, you will be the guardian of quality control at Earth's most customer-centric company! More specifically, you will be responsible for the adoption and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at our Middle Mile operation, one of the fastest growing operations at Amazon Brazil. Middle Mile is a transportation network connecting our Fulfillment Centers with Last Mile.Key job responsibilities- Being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all operational processes- Leading process integration efforts at our Delivery Stations (DS), Sort Centers, and Fulfillment Centers- Leading Continuous Improvement initiatives- Owning and managing change on a granular level- Performing audits to ensure continuous SOP adoption and eliminate defects and deviations- Work with teams across all network planning stages to identify opportunities for improvement- Make sure that we are always delivering the best possible service to our customers!A day in the lifeYou will be working closely with other teams across all miles to offer support and expertise and gain an insight into bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. Some of these teams include:- Deliver Station, Sort Center, FC Ops- Learning- Finance- HR- Loss Prevention- Supply ChainYou will also work with your counterparts in other geographies to benchmark our processes and ensure conformity with Amazon Standard Work.About the teamThe Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) team is a team of highly qualified individuals whose main goal is to ensure quality control and continuous improvement. We do this by keeping a close eye on metrics, making sure that we are constantly raising the bar on performance and efficiency. We are also responsible for the adoption of new technology and procedures as well as supporting our peers with subject matter expertise.

Skills Required

  • - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvementsintermediate
  • - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipintermediate
  • - Experience in an operational roleintermediate
  • - Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean techniques, PMP or similar standards preferredintermediate
  • - Experience in program or project managementintermediate

Required Qualifications

  • - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements (experience)
  • - Bachelor's degree (degree)
  • - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership (experience)
  • - Experience in an operational role (experience)
  • - Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean techniques, PMP or similar standards preferred (experience)
  • - Experience in program or project management (experience)
  • - Speak, write, and read fluently in English (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • - Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field (degree in mba in supply chain)
  • - Six Sigma Black Belt (experience)

Responsibilities
