As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services. This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. On a typical day, our Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineers (ADCE) will support AWS Config engineering and operations by completing activities including but not limited to:- Manage and monitoring systems health and status- Provisioning devices, assisting with data ingestion, and device cleaning- Troubleshooting device, network, and/or configuration related issues- Identifying, documenting, and communicating engineering and operations recommendations to team members - Writing and disseminating after action reports capturing key events, actions taken, and future mitigation plans- Providing on-call support when necessaryAbout the teamWhy AWSAmazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform.
