A Software Development Engineer with AWS Ground Station supports the development and delivery of key features as we innovate for our customers. On our team you will use your expertise to:- Work on a disruptive services that are still in early stages- Solve challenging problems that will revolutionize satellite connectivity in the cloud- Work for a recognized leader in supporting space customers with cloud computing- Have direct impact on hundreds, possibly thousands, of users of AWS Aerospace solutions.This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen.Key job responsibilitiesSoftware development engineer positions require a depth and breadth of knowledge in design and development, experience with agile methodologies, proficiency in a high-level language, experience with low level development, and experience building highly scalable systems involving distributed services. You will own the design of major deliverable and have opportunities to build them from scratch.   • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $143,700/year up to $194,400/year. The National base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
