We are seeking an ICQA and Returns Area Manager to join our Fulfilment Center's Inventory Control and Quality Assurance team. Our Fulfilment Centers lie at the core of Amazon’s rapidly expanding operations network: they are where we handle our highly dynamic inventory. In every Fulfillment Center, our teams receive deliveries, pick products, package them, and ship them out. We are looking for an inspiring and capable leader to ensure we continue delivering on our customer promise while enabling our teams to excel with a customer-obsessed mindset.Key job responsibilitiesAs an Area Manager, you will:· Lead and supervise a team of hourly associates in Inventory Control/Quality Assurance operations within the Fulfillment Center.· Champion safety initiatives and ensure full compliance to maintain a safe and secure work environment for all associates.· Coordinate inventory control maintenance and random counts aligned with network strategies, ensuring SOX compliance and consistency.· Measure quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy, delivering actionable feedback to the operations management team.· Conduct shift planning and forecasting while effectively assigning and directing work.· Identify root causes of inventory deviations using cause-and-effect methodologies and implement corrective actions.· Drive and support network-wide Fulfillment & Operations-focused quality initiatives.· Review and analyze customer complaints and process defect data, developing comprehensive action plans to minimize future occurrences.· Promote process improvements while developing your team’s capabilities to keep pace with our rapid growth, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement.· Appraise team performance, providing tailored development, recognition, and coaching to unlock their full potential.
