This strategic role presents an unprecedented opportunity to analyze Amazon's comprehensive data sets and develop actionable recommendations through advanced optimization and simulation methodologies.This role will collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, including product managers, program managers, data scientists, software development engineers, and other partner teams to analyze large datasets, prove and disprove hypotheses, automate existing solutions, and build self-service dashboards and reports.Key job responsibilities- Create data pipelines to combine data from databases, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), user inputs, and files using SQL, Python, R, and Rust.- Build reports using Amazon QuickSight or Tableau and automate alerts and business insights delivery.- Manage projects and communicate with stakeholders.- Deploy services using Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools: Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Simple Storage Service (S3), DynamoDB, and Redshift.- Write SQL code to analyze database data and select appropriate Amazon data resources for each task.- Create data visualizations and queries for both one-time requests and recurring reports.A day in the life- You will build and maintain data products using SQL, Python and Amazon Web Services (AWS) with Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs) and Scientists.- You will create dashboards, tools, automations and alert systems by analyzing data from multiple sources.- You will write code following Amazon security standards to integrate solutions with internal systems.- You will collaborate with tech teams to improve code quality and meet certification requirements.About the teamMissionOur mission is to translate business needs into data products and create business insights for decision making.   • - Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish (experience)

  • - 1+ years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administration experience (experience, 1 years)
  • - Experience applying optimization models in for business decision support or in optimized supervisory control (experience)
