This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive AWS's communications strategy in Ireland, and shape compelling narratives that showcase AWS’s innovation and impact across the country. You will develop and execute comprehensive and creative PR programs, craft and place engaging content, and manage complex communications challenges with high-judgement. Excellent writing skills are essential, as is extensive experience working with media, influencers, and opinon formers in Ireland. This position is based in Dublin, Ireland and will require periodic travel. The role sits within the AWS UK and Ireland Communications team. Key job responsibilities• Create and deliver proactive, creative, and integrated PR programs and strategies • Nurture and manage relationships with trade, business, national, and regional media (print, online, and broadcast), non-traditional influencers, and opinion formers • Handle complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges with high judgement • Craft compelling content, messaging, and communications plans • Cultivate and manage relationships with customers and partners • Lead PR programs for AWS-owned and industry events • Manage PR agencies
