We are seeking a dynamic Program and Community Manager to join the AWS Developer Relations team in EMEA. This hybrid role combines program management excellence with community engagement expertise to drive developer success and adoption of AWS services. You will be responsible for planning and executing strategic programs while fostering developer communities in Germany, Alps, and CEE countries, working closely with Developer Advocates and cross-functional teams to maximize impact.Key job responsibilitiesProgram Management (50%):- Drive strategy and execution for developer-focused programs, including first-party AWS and third-party community events- Manage complex, cross-functional initiatives to scale the impact of Developer Advocates- Create and maintain program dashboards, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to track success and demonstrate business value- Optimize processes and introduce automation to improve team efficiency and content production workflows- Partner with internal stakeholders to align developer programs with broader business objectives- Manage program budgets and vendor relationships effectivelyCommunity Management (50%):- Own and scale AWS User Groups and students' Cloud Club programs in Europe-South, including growth strategy and health metrics- Build and nurture relationships with community leaders and members through regular engagement- Support the planning and execution of AWS Community Days and other community-led events- Track community health metrics and adjust strategy based on changing community needs- Create feedback loops between the community and internal AWS teams- Enable community leaders to grow their memberships and deliver impactful eventsA day in the lifeSuccess in this role means:- Growing and maintaining healthy developer communities across Europe-Central- Delivering successful programs that drive developer engagement and AWS adoption- Creating efficient processes that enable Developer Advocates to focus on community impact- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and community leaders- Demonstrating measurable impact through data-driven insights and reportingThis role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of AWS developer communities while driving strategic programs that accelerate developer success.
