Job Description

We are seeking a Global Cost Control and Compliance Program Manager to oversee and optimize our organization’s financial compliance and reporting on a global scale. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing cost process compliance while providing global reporting across all global business units.AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Prepare and present comprehensive reports that bridge data and justify observed patterns to senior management on cost control and compliance program effectiveness.2. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.3. Partner with training leads and stakeholders to ensure cost control process compliance. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of cost control and compliance measures.4. Develop and implement global cost control strategies to optimize operational efficiency and minimize expenses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.5. Develop operational planning tracking compared to actual cost spend and develop automation to report out performance indicators.6.   • - MBA, Masters degree, project and/or portfolio management accreditation, such as PMP, Prince2 (degree in portfolio management accreditation)
  • - Knowledge of data center infrastructure or system components, supply chain dependencies, and planning criteria. (experience)
  • - Working knowledge of the construction process, construction estimating/accounting, different procurement methods, value management and value engineering, leveraging cost references/standards (RS Means, Uniformat, CSI Masterformat) and statistical data providers (US Bureau of Labor Statistics, material commodities) (degree in statistics)
  • - Experience with LLM development and deployment (experience)
  • - Proven capability working with, presenting to, and influencing senior executives (experience)
  • - Proficient in obtaining, organizing, auditing, and analyzing construction cost data to make fact-based decisions, drive root cause analysis, and evaluate outcome (experience)
  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
