This committed group works to maintain the critical physical infrastructure that supports AWS. Specifically, this team works to ensure the safe and secure operation of the data center's Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) infrastructure to provide 99.999% availability for our customers. The Regional CE is responsible for ensuring that all MEP equipment within the region is operating at peak efficiency. This involves planned preventative maintenance of equipment, daily corrective work, and emergency response. The Regional CE serves as an expert technical resource interacting with on-site Engineering Operations Technicians (EOT), CEs, Facility Managers (FM), and third party vendors.The Regional CE also manages medium-to-large projects and programs from conception to completion. These projects and programs involve large amounts of independent work, as well as, collaboration with external support groups including engineering, automation, processing, and finance in both local and global settings.   • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
