Job Description

Amazon is looking for a results-oriented individual to join the AWS Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Infrastructure Energy & Water Team. In this role, you will negotiate and execute power purchase agreements for carbon free energy and power supply contracts across EMEA, as well as deliver innovative energy projects, creating a diverse, cost effective energy portfolio for the EMEA region. You will need to be able to identify key market conditions, regulations, and market structures to help evaluate and deliver on savings opportunities. You will have a results orientated approach, strong analytical skill set, financial acumen and proven ability to manage multiple projects in tandem.   • - Prior transaction experience in EU power and gas markets, especially Nordics, UK, Germany, France and Ireland. (experience)
  • - Prior experience in energy trading or power generation in EU energy markets (experience)

  • - Ability to converse in German, Swedish or French is advantageous. (experience)
